Updates versus Upgrades
An Update is a hot fix to an existing application. Bicycle Bundle 2005 clients were entitled to updates at no charge during
2005. Bundle updates are available from our client Intranet for registered
users. Upgrades, however,
carry an extra charge if you are not enrolled in a DRS AMP (Annual Maintenance
Plan).
An Upgrade is a major rewrite of an existing application with new
features, and/or entirely new applications.
I'm not sure I need to upgrade to
Bicycle Bundle 2006 or RMS Toolkit 2006. What's in it?
DRS Bicycle Bundle 2006 and RMS Toolkit 2006 are major upgrades, with many powerful enhancements to
your favorite utilities, as well as several altogether new applications. To see

The RMS Toolkit 2006 includes the same enhancements except JumpStart and
bicycle-specific features.
How much do the 2006 DRS Bundles cost?
Pricing for our 2006 Bundles is based upon your Microsoft RMS point-of-sale lane count:

Once you've purchased a DRS Add-in for RMS, you'll want to get the most out of
your software and receive great updates and upgrades, by purchasing a DRS AMP.
Current AMP subscribers can download our updates and upgrades from our client
Intranet.

What's a DRS AMP?
It’s an Annual Maintenance
Plan, like Microsoft® offers, but
for DRS products. DRS AMPs include both updates and upgrades. DRS AMPs are
required for the first year and provide our clients the most current technology at the lowest
price. Our AMPs are offered in two cycles. DRS AMPs purchased
between January and June expire on 12/31 of the same year. DRS AMPs purchased
between July and December are pro-rated and also expire on 12/31. Current AMP
subscribers are then entitled to re-enroll for the next year's AMP at the lowest
price.
How much are DRS AMPs?
DRS AMPs are priced according to the current list price of DRS software, and how
much time has lapsed since your original purchase date:

91-180 days.......27%
181-364 days.....36%
1-2 years...........50%
2+ years...........100%
